Fred and Cindy WARMBIER, the parents of Otto Warmbier, the American student who died six days just after being released from North Korean custody, released this statement Friday about who is responsible for the brutal treatment and death of their son Otto.

Kim and his evil regime are responsible for the death of our son Otto. Kim and his evil regime are responsible for unimaginable cruelty and inhumanity. No excuses or lavish praise can change that.

In Hanoi, a reporter asked trump if he had spoken to the North Korean leader about what happened to the student. Trump said, Kim felt really bad about it and he does not believe Kim was responsible for what happened to Warmbier.

He told me that he didn’t know about it and I will take him as his word” said Trump

A number of US lawmakers and human rights advocates say they were appalled by Tramp’s statement, saying chairman, Kim knows exactly what’s going on in his country especially with a high-profile American detainee.

There are more questions that Donald Trump should have asked and should have demanded answers to, and he has failed in a very systematic way to come up with the answers that warmer family deserve and the American people deserve”, explained Phil Robertson, Human rights Watch.

Robertson and other human rights advocates say they see a pattern of Trump abandoning human rights concerns when he speaks to dictators. Trump also repeatedly is used to calling out Saudi Arabia’s top leaders when he was asked by the murder and dismemberment last October of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.

Robertson says he believes Americans commitment to human rights is still strong and that There’s a bipartisan consensus in the Congress that supports human rights as a core part of US foreign policy and polling data of American citizens say that human rights are important, it’s D. Trump that’s out of step with the American people on this.

The president took the following Twitter to respond to the backlash to his comments Friday saying he was misinterpreted and that of course, he holds North Korea responsible for Otto Warmbier’s mystery and death.
